LifeVantage (NASDAQ: LFVN) is launching free shipping for customers in select markets effective Jan. 13. The offer includes all subscription orders going forward, as well as any U.S. customers not on subscription receiving free shipping on orders of $100 or more. The Canadian, Mexican and European markets will also receive conditional free shipping, with orders over a certain dollar threshold. The threshold will vary depending on the market. Other markets will be included in the free shipping efforts over the coming year. LifeVantage CEO Darren Jensen says the new shipping policies are an effort to further improve the customer experience.
Heidi Thompson, who previously served as president of Scentsy, will now share the title of co-CEO with Orville Thompson. The husband and wife team founded the company 15 years ago and have led Scentsy as equal partners, though unofficially. They have since scaled back their involvement in daily operations and will continue to focus on long-term, high-level contributions to company growth.
Dan Orchard has been promoted to president of Scentsy. He was previously general manager of emerging markets and has been an integral part of Scentsy’s executive team for 10 years, with strong engagement and interactions with consultants in multiple roles and leading international expansion. His prior direct selling experience includes working with Nu Skin.
Chelsey Berend, Stream
Stream has promoted Chelsey Berend to vice president of field experience. Berend started at Stream as a receptionist and created new roles for herself at the company, founding the organization’s event department. Berend helped initiate the project Women of Power, which brings women together to support each other in business.
Erik Patterson, 4Life Research
Erik Patterson has been named vice president of North America at 4Life Research. Patterson joined 4Life in July 2018 as director of Southeast Asia. He has more than 25 years of experience in direct sales including time at Xyngular, MonaVie, XANGO and Nature’s Sunshine. Patterson’s geographical responsibilities will include the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
