Kara Trousdale, Beautycounter
Beautycounter has appointed Kara Trousdale as chief commercial officer. Trousdale brings experience in retail and supply chain and will be responsible for overseeing and innovating Beautycounter’s omnichannel model. She previously served nearly eight years at Amazon, where she most recently was chief marketing officer for Amazon Fashion.
Nathan Moore, Mary Kay
Mary Kay Inc. has named Nathan Moore president, global sales and marketing. In this new role, Moore will manage all region leadership teams, as well as global marketing and global strategy and insights teams. He will continue as region president of Mary Kay North America. Moore joined Mary Kay in 1995 as a staff attorney.
As the COVID-19 pandemic passes the two-year mark, the field’s giddiness from the channel’s record growth has given way to the emotional and mental weight of coping with ongoing disruptions from the Omicron variant’s ubiquitous surge. And with this surge comes more changes and shifts in consumer and distributor patterns.
