MONAT Global, a multinational direct seller of beauty products, announced that it is entering Spain’s market this year. Coming just seven years after its U.S. launch, and on the heels of a 2018-2019 expansion into the U.K., Ireland and Poland, MONAT confirmed the Spain launch would come in June with a series of virtual events and local roadshows to introduce the brand to partners. Kim Drabik has joined Plexus Worldwide as director of government relations. Drabik will drive strategy toward good public policy and stakeholder engagement with local, state, federal and global government affairs. She previously spent 28 years at Amway, having served in numerous roles culminating with managing industry and shareholder relations and serving as primary strategic council.
Look Good Feel Better® (LGFB) has appointed Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. General Manager Lynda Rose as chair of the board of directors. LGFB helps women and teens manage the appearance-related effects of cancer and its treatment, and Rose has been a supporter of the organization since its inception. Today, Mary Kay Beauty Consultants make up 50 percent of the LGFB volunteer team.
Heidi Thompson, who previously served as president of Scentsy, will now share the title of co-CEO with Orville Thompson. The husband and wife team founded the company 15 years ago and have led Scentsy as equal partners, though unofficially. They have since scaled back their involvement in daily operations and will continue to focus on long-term, high-level contributions to company growth.
Dan Orchard has been promoted to president of Scentsy. He was previously general manager of emerging markets and has been an integral part of Scentsy’s executive team for 10 years, with strong engagement and interactions with consultants in multiple roles and leading international expansion. His prior direct selling experience includes working with Nu Skin.
