The Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF) has awarded two individuals through its 2020 Sales Doctoral Student Grant Program. Molly Ahearne, from the University of Georgia, and Scott Hachey, from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, received grants through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Those institutions accredited to offer doctoral granting are able to build, recruit and retain aspiring sales-focused faculty and scholars. Ahearne is working with Dr. John Hulland, and Hachey is working with Dr. Nathan Hartmann. The grant recipients submitted proposals related to the direct selling channel, DSEF and DSA member companies. Over a four-year period, the recipients will receive $4,000 toward a research project relevant to DSEF and DSA member companies.
