Greenlife, Oriflame (under the name Stella Ivy) and Unicity were each fined by Vietnam’s Competition Agency (VCA) which operates under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. VCA revoked Greenlife’s business registration certificate revoked and fined the company for conducting multi-level sales in the country without the approval of the province’s department of Industry and Trade. Greenlife was also cited for failing to complete the training obligation imposed by the government and for failing to report periodically to officials.
VCA also fined Oriflame (Stella Ivy) for operating in cities and provinces without approval from the local departments of Trade and Industry and for not having signed contracts between the company and the sales staff.
Unicity was fined for violating regulations on the announcement of its headquarters and its business.
