According the the Washington Examiner, the U.S. Postal Service will run out of funds by 2024. Megan Brennan, the Postmaster General, proposed a reform to the Oversight and Reform Committee that would save billions of dollars by cutting back mail delivery to 5 days and increasing package delivery to 7 days a week. USPS reported an annual net loss of $1.5 billion for 2018, up nearly $1 billion from the previous year.
