In early December 2019, California-based skin care company Rodan + Fields laid off 15 percent of its corporate workforce. The company reported it cut positions across all levels and departments as part of an overall reorganization. Of the companies roughly 560 employees, 86 were part of the layoff. The company has three corporate offices in California with the headquarters in San Fransisco. The company’s CEO, Diane Dietz, wrote in an email that the layoff would allow the company to focus on global expansion, specifically its planned 2020 launch in Japan.
