Drugstores are adding more services in order to keep people coming into their stores and compete with online shopping.
Walgreens opened a dental office inside one of its stores in Florida and CVS offers teeth fitting for invisible aligners through SmileDirectClub in six of its stores. Other services provided by Walgreens include FedEx and Sprint kiosks plus exclusive Birchbox kits for their in-store shoppers. CVS plans to open health hubs after acquiring Aetna for $70 billion.
