In the recently released Consumer View report, the National Retail Federation reports that 83 percent of consumers say convenience while shopping is more important to them now compared to five years ago. The report also stated that 97 percent of respondents have backed out of a purchase because it was inconvenient. Convenience has reached such a premium that 93 percent say they are more likely to shop with specific brands based entirely on convenience.
