A survey conducted by the social media marketing platform Sprout Social found that 90% of social marketers see a return on investment through social media advertising. Facebook is the leading social site used by online marketers at 89%, with Instagram tailing at 65%, and Twitter and YouTube following at roughly 50%. The online survey of 1,011 consumers and 1,018 marketers also found that 31% of C-level marketers find it difficult to secure budgets for social media marketing.
