Customers have requested approval of a $3.25 million settlement deal that would end class-action claims that Younique mascara is not made from natural fibers as advertised. Under the terms of the proposed class-action settlement, consumers in 11 states who purchased “Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes” between 2012 and 2015 will benefit from this settlement. Class attorneys are seeking expenses of $175,000 and about $1 million in fees. The amount that each Class Member could receive under the proposed deal has not yet been made available. A preliminary approval hearing of the Younique class action settlement has been set for Sept. 16.
