Walmart has launched a web-only furniture brand called MoDRN aimed at providing online shoppers with high quality home goods at reasonable prices.
In a Walmart.com U.S. ecommerce news release, it was reported that Walmart.com’s home section has received an increase in traffic by 35 percent multiple years in a row. In an effort to capture the consumer dollars available in the online channel, the new brand will offer 650 home products with a modern look and feel. Amazon is no.1 in the Internet Retailer 2018 Top 500, but Walmart is not far behind at No.3.
