Steven Fife, chief financial officer of LifeVantage Corp., has been appointed interim CEO, following the resignation of Darren Jensen. The LifeVantage Board of Directors will initiate an executive search to identify and appoint a permanent successor to Jensen. Also, the company will combine its sales and marketing teams, with the resulting team led by Justin Rose, chief sales officer.
Candace Matthews, Herman Miller
Amway’s Candace Matthews has been appointed to Herman Miller’s Board of Directors as well as the Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committee. Matthews is the chief reputation officer of Amway. Previously she was regional president for the Americas and also served as its chief marketing officer. Matthews joined Amway in 2007, and before that, she worked at L’Oreal and Coca-Cola.
Scott Meader, Luminex Home Décor & Fragrance Co.
Luminex Home Décor & Fragrance Co. has hired Scott Meader as CEO. Meader brings 35 years of leadership experience in consumer packaged goods. In this role, he will focus on streamlining operations and scaling the company’s candle and décor offerings across the globe. Luminex owns and operates Candle-lite and PartyLite. Meader has held positions at Ronnoco Coffee and AB Mauri Fleischmann’s.
Travis Garza, Plexus Worldwide
Plexus Worldwide has named Travis Garza as president of sales and marketing. In his 20-year career, Garza has helped multiple businesses achieve new high revenue targets. He is an accomplished executive in the direct sales industry. He’s held leadership positions at Melaleuca Inc. and Isagenix International. Most recently, he was President & CEO at Kyani International.
Paulo Bangerter, dōTERRA
dōTERRA has promoted Paulo Bangerter to president of dōTERRA Brazil. Bangerter most recently served as general manager of dōTERRA Brazil. His career spans more than 30 years, with experience at direct sellers Enrich and Unicity International. After joining dōTERRA, Bangerter served as vice president of international markets before his most recent role.
John Fleming, USANA
John Fleming has joined USANA Health Sciences Inc.’s Board of Directors. With more than 50 years in direct selling, he has vocally advocated for the business model through his long executive career with Avon Products Inc., his own business ventures, and his role as publisher and editor-in-chief of Direct Selling News. As an industry thought leader and consultant he continues this work.
José Ardon, BE
BE, formally MELiUS, has named José Ardon as its executive vice president. Ardon started his journey with BE in 2019 as a distributor and continued to move up in the organization. In July, he achieved the rank of Ambassador after his team reached $4 million in sales within a month. He has spent 15 years in network marketing, including at ORGANO Gold and Seacret Direct.
Arundhati Sampath, MIRA BEAUTY
MIRA BEAUTY has named Arundhati Sampath its new chief product officer to develop and execute the company’s next phase of growth. She has served as a search and discovery product lead at Facebook and Amazon building some of the companies’ most well-known features and interfaces. She also served at Microsoft and Yahoo!, bolstering their advertising and e-commerce technologies.
Laure Alexandre, Seldia
The board of directors of Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association, has appointed Laure Alexandre as executive director. Alexandre is an experienced EU public affairs specialist with 14 years of expertise in health and consumer policies. She previously worked for the European Advertising Standard Alliance and spiritsEUROPE, promoting and advancing effective self-regulation and corporate social responsibility.
Scott Sipherd, DirectScale
DirectScale Inc. has promoted Scott Sipherd to vice president of global marketing where he will guide the vision, strategy and mission of the company’s global marketing efforts. With more than 20 years as a B2B marketer focused on growth, transforming businesses and creating new markets, Sipherd joined DirectScale in 2019. He previously led marketing at IrisVision, TINT and HP.
Charles Rosenblatt, Payoneer
Payoneer has hired Charles Rosenblatt as chief strategy officer, focused on cross-organizational vision, strategic resource prioritization, and key corporate partnerships and acquisitions. An innovator in the payments industry for the past 20 years, Rosenblatt has held executive leadership roles at Capital One, Washington Mutual and Hyperwallet, among others.

doTERRA has promoted Murray Smith to president of Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. Smith joined doTERRA Europe in 2014 and has helped lead the market through growth and to open several new countries each year. He most recently served as vice president of Europe. His 30-year career has included time at Young Living and Nu Skin.
Jim Maloney, Medifast
Jim Maloney has been named chief financial officer at Medifast, parent company of OPTAVIA. Maloney will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial and capital allocation strategies, and investor relations. He most recently served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for L.B. Foster Co. He’s also worked with First Insight Inc. and the H.J. Heinz Co.
Vivian Chung-Patterson, MyDailyChoice
MyDailyChoice has hired Vivian Chung-Patterson as senior vice president of marketing. Chung-Patterson will oversee marketing initiatives and brand development. She has more than 10 years of experience in network marketing, where she focused on building cohesive teams and managed projects with multimillion-dollar budgets. She previously led marketing and branding efforts at ARIIX and Jeunesse Global.
Dr. Lizette B. Leos, Stemtech Corp.
Lizette B. Leos, M.D., has been appointed to Stemtech Corp.’s newly created Life Sciences Advisory Board. Dr. Leos joined Stemtech in 2017 and supports product development. She has a medical degree from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, with a focus in nutritional supplementation and specializing in molecular nutrition, as well as a diploma in advanced studies in molecular nutrition.
Heidi Wissmiller, Nature’s Sunshine Products
Nature’s Sunshine Product Inc. has appointed Heidi Wissmiller to its board of directors. Wissmiller will also serve on the company’s Audit and Risk Management Committees. She brings over 25 years of experience, most recently as chief growth officer at Rodan + Fields. Before that, she worked with Micro Analytical Systems, PepsiCo, RJR Nabisco and E & J Gallo.
Patty Hoppenstedt, Southwestern
Patty Hoppenstedt has joined the Southwestern Family of Companies as vice president of human resources. Hoppenstedt will be responsible for providing consultation on strategic staffing plans, including compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations. She has spent over 20 years in HR and has held leadership roles at DentaQuest, Amedisys, and Levy Security Corp.
Frank Deng, Rain International
Rain International has added Frank Deng to its scientific advisory team. Deng received his Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has since contributed his expertise in OTC drugs, traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition, medical devices, oral care, personal care, and skin care to Tiens Group, Bayer, GSK, the U.S. Air Force, and GE.
Dr. Victor S. Dorodny, Stemtech Corp.
Victor S. Dorodny, M.D., N.D., Ph.D., MPH, FAAPM, FIIA, FACEP, FACHP, has joined Stemtech’s new Life Sciences Advisory Board, having knowledge in international biotechnology. Dr. Dorodny has practiced family and geriatric medicine, naturopathic wellness, anesthesiology, pain management, and anti-aging medicine. He has consulted with the FDA as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board.
Cassie Lewis, ByDesign
ByDesign Technologies has promoted Cassie Lewis to the newly created position of director of client growth. Lewis will work directly with clients and assist them in leveraging technology for their businesses. She joined ByDesign in May 2018 and, before that, founded Local and Growing, a direct selling consulting firm. She was previously an executive at Silpada for eight years.

Metrics Global has announced the appointment of Lenny Crotty as President, assuming responsibility for overall business growth, go to market strategy and day-to-day operations for Metrics Global. Lenny brings over 20 years of worldwide direct selling experience and is well known and respected in the industry.
Mike Christensen, InfoTrax
Mike Christensen has been hired as vice president of sales at InfoTrax. He previously led business development for Visible Supply Chain Management for more than 10 years. During that time, he also started serving as a board member of the DSA’s Supplier Committee. Prior to Visible, he served in marketing and sales positions with Nortrade Medical and Financial Freedom Report.
Jayme Fishman, Avalara
Avalara has appointed Jayme Fishman as executive vice president of corporate development. Fishman will oversee mergers and acquisitions and manage the acquisitions process. He brings over two decades of tax technology, consulting, product development, and business management experience and previously worked with Ryan as president of its tax software division.
Prasad Gankanda, Young Living
Prasad Gankanda has joined the management team of Young Living as executive vice president of sales. He previously served as senior vice president of global sales operations. Gankanda joined Young Living in 2015 as director of international operations, after holding positions of increasing responsibility at MonaVie, focused on manufacturing and supply chain.
Brian Clark, Isagenix
Isagenix International has promoted Brian Clark to senior vice president of operations. In his new role, Clark’s duties will include oversight of demand, supply, purchasing, transportation, manufacturing and distribution. He joined Isagenix in 2017, most recently serving as vice president of supply chain planning and logistics. Before Isagenix, Clark worked with Henkel Consumer Goods Inc. and Amazon.com, among others.
Beatriz Díaz de la Fuente, Tupperware
Tupperware Brands Corp. has named Beatriz Díaz de la Fuente as chief human resources officer. Díaz de la Fuente will oversee its human resources strategy, including talent management, HR technology systems, leadership development, and compensation and benefits. Her career in human resources has included multinational companies such as Herbalife and GE.
Herbalife Nutrition’s co-president and chief strategic officer, John DeSimone, has transitioned to president. DeSimone will manage regional leaders as well as have responsibility for distributor-facing functions. He joined Herbalife in 2007.
Luis Vazquez has been named senior vice president, sales and marketing at Tupperware. Vazquez will lead the implementation of streamlined compensation models, enhanced customer experience, and accelerated product innovation as well as rapidly implement digital tools.
Tupperware has elected Mauro Schnaidman to its board of directors. Schnaidman has more than 30 years in the consumer product, digital and direct selling sectors. He is former president and CEO of JAFRA Cosmetics.
WorldVentures Founder and Chief Visionary Officer Wayne Nugent will become CEO for the first time in the company’s 14-year history. In this role, he will provide strategic guidance and long-term planning. Nugent started his career in general sales for companies such as Cahners Business Systems and GTE.
Dr. Luis N. Pacheco, FAAFP, has joined Plexus Worldwide’s Medical Advisory Board. Pacheco is an award-winning family physician. He has received recognition from The American Diabetes Association and The “Head Start” Program.
Janne Heimonen, Kannaway
Janne Heimonen, managing director, Europe, at Kannaway, has been appointed managing director, international. Heimonen joined Kannaway in 2019, bringing more than 25 years of leadership and sales experience in direct selling, fulfilling roles in both European and U.S.-based companies, including Nikken.
As a result of the recent restructuring of Tupperware Brands Corp., Patricio Cuesta has been hired as executive vice president and president, commercial, worldwide. In a new position for the company, his team will begin integrating sales, marketing and digital strategies to support the sales growth.
Gary Gallant has been named the company’s permanent CIO. In this role, Gallant will establish and execute Isagenix’s technology vision, contributing to an improved shopping experience for customers and digital tools for distributors. Gallant previously served as interim CIO at Rodan + Fields.
WorldVentures has hired Michael Poates as chief operating officer. Poates will work to establish new partnerships and secure existing partnerships, as well as support the field. He has nearly 30 years in growth strategies for brands such as Mr. Gatti’s and Dairy Queen.
Kannaway Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Jones has been promoted to president. In his new position, Jones will be responsible for sales, marketing and field development. Jones served as general manager of Canada for Jeunesse and in multiple roles of increasing importance at MonaVie.
Tony Chaplin has joined Elepreneurs as chief operations officer. In his new role, Chaplin will streamline processes to further improve efficiencies and increase profitability. He has served in executive leadership roles for numerous companies, including Zurvita, SUCCESS Partners, Scentsy and Nikken.
