Kara Trousdale, Beautycounter

Beautycounter has appointed Kara Trousdale as chief commercial officer. Trousdale brings experience in retail and supply chain and will be responsible for overseeing and innovating Beautycounter’s omnichannel model. She previously served nearly eight years at Amazon, where she most recently was chief marketing officer for Amazon Fashion.

 

Nathan Moore, Mary Kay

Mary Kay Inc. has named Nathan Moore president, global sales and marketing. In this new role, Moore will manage all region leadership teams, as well as global marketing and global strategy and insights teams. He will continue as region president of Mary Kay North America. Moore joined Mary Kay in 1995 as a staff attorney.

Medical Marijuana Inc., parent company of Kannaway, has appointed Blake Schroeder as CEO and president. Schroeder will replace Dr. Stuart Titus, who is semi-retiring. Schroeder joined the company in 2016 and was formerly CEO of Kannaway. He also has  worked for Forevergreen and MonaVie.

Taylor has been with 4Life for 20 years, starting in the company’s warehouse in 2001 before being promoted to supervisor of manufacturing. He most recently served as senior director of the new business intelligence and analytics department in 2018.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued warning letters to six more direct selling companies over alleged misleading product and earnings claims related to the coronavirus. Herbalife has promoted Dr. John Agwunobi, co-president and chief health and nutrition officer, to CEO, effective March 30, 2020. John DeSimone, co-president and chief strategic officer, will become president. Michael Johnson will remain chairman. 

 

 

Jeff Hill, Shaklee Corp

With 20 years in direct selling, Jeff Hill has joined Shaklee Corp. as president of global sales. He returned to the company after more than 12 years, having served as president in 2006-2007. In the interim, he spent time at Tahitian Noni (now Morinda) and more than eight years at Team Beachbody.
