Software firm Brightpearl has conducted a survey on millennials’ shopping expectations (ages 23-38).
Forty-five percent of those surveyed stated that they were less loyal to any particular brand, and much quicker to stop shopping with a company if the retailer failed to meet expectations. Eight out of 10 millennials will not buy anything without reading a review first, revealing an advantage for brands who choose to stay engaged throughout the entire lifecycle of a purchase.
In addition, 10 percent of those surveyed admitted that they are willing to pay more for products if a seamless shopping experience is guaranteed.
