How do you keep your field energized and engaged?
At AdvoCare, we look at the many different layers of connection and work to stay engaged through several channels. We’ve seen that live conversations through Facebook allow for us to create connections and a feeling of community. We also focus on creating monthly product promotions to give our field something fun to talk about. We engage regularly with our Top Distributor Council, and, most importantly, we empower our regional sales managers to become personal cheerleaders.

Our core values are authentic, connect, and fun! We believe the team must be highly incentivized financially, balanced by the importance of a strong community that is inclusive while providing professional and personal growth opportunities. We give our field a voice in who we are and where we’re heading, creating engagement through trust and participation. Our biggest efforts are in launching products nearly every month establishing consistent engagement.

There is a great deal to gain from history when it comes to engaging a large, diverse group. General Douglas MacArthur said, “A true leader has the confidence to make tough decisions and the compassion to listen to the needs of others.” I have found these two touchpoints to be key: 1. Regularly listen and learn from someone new in the field. 2.Utilize customer service’s expertise to educate the company on the roadblocks to engagement. Then, systematize it!
