François Renard, Amway
François Renard has joined Amway as chief marketing officer. Renard joins Amway from automaker Renault Group where he was global chief marketing officer. At Amway, he will focus on brand and digital experience. Renard’s marketing career of over 25 years began at Unilever’s personal care business. He was also CEO of its Kate Somerville brand.
Chris Reid, Plexus
Plexus Worldwide has promoted Chris Reid, previously vice president of compliance and general counsel, to chief legal officer. Reid will now lead legal, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, quality, and compliance teams. Reid joined Plexus in 2015 and has nearly 40 years of legal experience, including time at FreeLife International and Vemma.
Jennifer Orlando, Plexus
Plexus Worldwide has hired Jennifer Orlando as the company’s new chief sales officer. Orlando will lead the global sales strategy and efforts. She brings over 20 years of sales experience to her role at Plexus. Orlando was previously chief sales officer for Arbonne and worked at Ever Skincare, Benefit Cosmetics, and Estee Lauder.
Christina Snyder, Arbonne
Arbonne has appointed Christina Snyder to chief growth officer. Snyder was formerly the chief revenue officer for Boon Supply. Snyder brings over 15 years of leadership and sales experience to the newly created position with Arbonne, including prior roles at Thirty-One Gifts and Jewell. Snyder will lead the sales organization.
Laura Beitler, Rodan + Fields
Rodan + Fields has appointed Laura Beitler as chief global sales officer. Beitler is a direct sales veteran who has spent her 21-year career at Mary Kay. Most recently, she was head of U.S. sales and marketing. As chief global sales officer for Rodan + Fields, Beitler will be responsible for business related to the brand and Independent Consultant salesforce.
Elana Gold, Rodan + Fields
Elana Gold has joined Rodan + Fields as chief marketing officer. Gold brings over 25 years of experience to Rodan + Fields leading international legacy brands such as YumBrands, Abbot, and Avon. As CMO, she will drive the strategy and vision for the R+F brand, including creative, innovation, social media, loyalty, digital marketing and e-commerce, and corporate communications.
Jared Turner, Amare Global
Amare Global has hired Jared Turner as CEO. Amare’s founder, Hiep Tran, will become chairman. Turner has spent nearly 20 years in domestic and international leadership roles in natural products and direct selling. He was most recently president and chief operating officer at Young Living. Turner also worked at an international law firm.
Gabby Sanchez, Amare Global
Gabby Sanchez has joined Amare Global as chief sales officer. Sanchez has spent nearly two decades in international business development. After earning his master’s at Brigham Young University Law School, Sanchez practiced international business law for 12 years. He was recently president of the Americas Region at Young Living.
Jürgen Pulvermüller, Seacret Direct
Seacret Direct has hired Jürgen Pulvermüller as vice president of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets. Jürgen has decades of sales management experience across multiple continents. He has helped build sales organizations for direct sellers such as Freebay and ViSalus.
André J. Hoffman, L’Occitane Group
André J. Hoffman will succeed Reinold Geiger as CEO of L’Occitane Group. Hoffman will continue as vice chairman of the board and as an executive director. He has over 30 years’ experience in cosmetics, luxury products and fashion. The group recently debuted in social selling with MyL’Occitane.
Dr. Enrique Martinez, Stemtech
Stemtech has added Dr. Enrique Martinez to its Life Sciences Advisory Board. Dr. Martinez brings a background in occupational medicine and general practice in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He also acted as medical advisor to global corporations and the FAA as well as has been a longtime distributor of Stemtech.
Brooks Gordon, CorVive
CorVive has appointed Brooks Gordon as chief communications officer. Brooks was an advisor for the company since its founding three years ago and has spent over 15 years in health and wellness, serving as CMO, creative director, and vice president of sales and marketing for several companies, including Seed Health & Wellness and Avail Vapor.
Dee Oldroyd, Metrics Global
Metrics Global Inc. has hired Dee Oldroyd as vice president of business development. Oldroyd has more than 20 years of experience in payments with a specific emphasis on the direct selling channel. Most recently, Oldroyd was vice president of sales at the payments company Nuvei. Prior to this, he was at ProPay.
Forever Living’s Rex Maughan Passes Away
Rex Maughan, international humanitarian, real estate developer, and founder of global aloe vera brand Forever Living Products, died in Arizona at the age of 84 on July 17, 2021. Maughan founded Forever Living out of his garage in 1978. Today, the company is the world’s largest grower, producer, and seller of aloe vera, reaching over 160 countries.
